About Us
We are a locally owned and operated company with over 20 years of service to the City of Avalon and Catalina Island, CA. We make it our mission to give our customers a memorable experience. Our drivers are friendly and well-trained and know the island extremely well. You may have known us before as Catalina Transportation Services, Inc and then Journey Catalina. However, we decided we needed a new company name to better reflect all of the services we have to offer as Catalina Taxi and Tours. Our name may have changed but our team and dedication to our customers remains the same.
Catalina Island is our home and we’d love to share our home with you and yours.
Location
Our tours depart from Catalina Adventure Headquarters at 1202 Avalon Canyon Rd — but we'll pick you up anywhere in Avalon, so getting started is easy.
Better yet, come find us. The HQ is equal parts basecamp and destination: great shopping, contagious energy, and more ways to explore the island than you'll find anywhere else. If you really want to experience the real Catalina, this is where you start.
