Private Interior Shuttle
Transportation to the Interior of Catalina Island
Private Interior Shuttles are a year-round service providing quick and convenient Catalina Island transportation. Our spacious Toyota Sienna minivans hold up to 7 passengers with luggage and gear (see baggage policy) & our spacious Toyota 4Runners hold up to 4 passengers with luggage and gear (see baggage policy). Catalina shuttles are based out of Avalon and run 7 days per week. If you don’t see the time you are looking for please call our main office at 310-510-0342 Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm. Catalina shuttles are based in Avalon, so reservations for pick-ups outside Avalon city limits are highly recommended to guarantee you transportation.
Hikers looking to trek the majestic hillsides of Catalina Island can begin their journey by taking a shuttle into the interior and hike back into Avalon. Hikers must obtain a free hiking permit from the Catalina Conservancy. For more information and to obtain your free hiking permit click here: Hiking Permit.
Baggage Policy: Space is limited on the vehicle. All person(s) plus gear must fit inside the vehicle, 250 lbs. max for weight for gear. Gear haul service on island is available (reservations required).

Gear going over the maximum pounds allotted may be charged an extra $100.00 or require a second vehicle (Second vehicle(s) are limited for shuttles, reservations required). To ensure your camping adventure meets all your needs, plan accordingly so as not to have gear left behind.

Airport in the Sky
Approximately 30 minutes
A perfect destination for a few hours. Catalina's airport also features the DC-3 Cafe, unique shopping and great hiking trails.
